Eric Schmidt, present CEO of Google, has finally resigned from Apple’s Board of Directors due to conflict of interest between Apple and Android, thus, complicating Schmidt’s function as Apple’s Board member. Apple’s CEO, Steve Jobs, said “Unfortunately, as Google enters more of Apple’s core businesses, with Android and now Chrome OS, Eric’s effectiveness as an Apple Board member will be significantly diminished,”
Furthermore, FCC is presently conducting an investigation on Google and Apple’s conflict that arose from Apple and AT&T’s resolution to obstruct Google’s Voice iPhone application.
